I along with the help of Terri (my wife) started Randall Roberts General Contractors in 1984. We have completed many residential and commercial projects. During that time we have made countless satisfied customers. Our crew is made up some excellent local tradesmen. Our two oldest sons are an integral part of the company Randall Roberts Jr. has been with company since 1999 full time and spent many hours part time. James Roberts also did many hours part time and came aboard full time in 2003. Dennis Whittemore has been with the company since 2005. Rich Lawrence has been with us since 2008. Along with David Rowe giving many years of his expertise. We have an excellent group of tradesmen.
With our eyes looking toward expansion, the idea was presented to create a Home Improvement division. Ben Surner a successful western Massachusetts entrepreneur encouraged us to open a showroom and specialize in windows, doors and siding. A methodical search was on. We determined that we wanted to buy the real estate for such a venture. In 2007 the deal was negotiated and we purchased a nice property on Route 9 in Hadley Massachusetts. After a major renovation we opened in June of 2008. Alison Penza joined us to run the showroom and handle the orders. Many told us that it was a bad time to try to start a new business. It has been quite the opposite. With our excellent group we made over 50 new customers (see some of the testimonials) from June to December of 2008. With good honest hard work anything is possible. |
